No, he's not. I'm pretty sure this time it's Andrew fronting them from behind his drum kit. Which is how it should have been all along, if you ask me.

Sorry, I thought you were kidding, so I was just kidding. Your question was already asked and answered earlier in this thread, and you can probably guess the answer now.

Are you taking the piss? Or just being toooooooo ironic?
Every tour somebody asks this question. He's a member of the fucking band, the same as the other seven. They have not played a gig without him since 2001!! Mind you, some of those gigs (Dublin 09 i think) they'd have been better off without him :)

Think you'll find from the FAQ's

1) The lead singer will be drunk
2) Tears will be shed for the famine

Err cant remember the third one. Can somebody help?

I'll be going from Cambridge, but will more than likely just jump on the train to be honest.

And regarding Newmarket - if The Pogues should ever reach the point where they're playing Newmarket Nights then I'd say all is lost, it's the most soulless, money-driven gig going!

No more Scunthorpe jokes please, you ought to try living here! I have a question which i think no one will be able to answer and its this What links The Pogues with the 'lovely' town of Scunthorpe? And no its not they played here a couple of times, if anyone answers this correctly ,then they shall be regarded as a genius,in my eyes!

Indeed. Though I'm told by those who've attended that the amount of alcohol consumed at Newmarket Nights would be comparable to a Pogues gig.

I don't do trains across London, so the train's not an option, sadly. We'll probably get a vehicle together one way or another, and embark on yet another epic Pogues journey.
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.

The first point is true, yes. I somehow got roped into seeing Meatloaf there a few weeks back and if I'm honest, I've never been so grateful for alcohol induced lack of memories.

Ah, I see. Fair enough. To be honest I'm too unreliable at events such as this to commit to return when scheduled, it all gets a bit hazy and even the best laid plans go to ruin.

Mrs. Cadillac and I snapped up tickets for both shows in Brixton and look forward to seeing the gang from the Paris gigs last year and meeting some new faces from this forum.
