well im not going to gig but saw the manics there a few years back. Apart from it being a brilliant venue, what do you need to know. I'm going to the manchester gig again

well i have tickets for glasgow shows, but thought maybe i will also go to cardiff the night before. the thing is--i will have to take early train out of cardiff so i was wondering what is the best way from point a to point b.. suggestions for train station and timetable helpful. im planning on staying in cardiff a few days . so maybe also som suggestions for B&B too. thanks in advance, carmen

I dont know about b+b's in Cardiff but i do know that the railway station is about 15 mins walk to the arena. times for trains etc can easily be found on internet etc

thanks anyways. yes--i have found train info(national rail) but early train out on the 13th will be to close in time to show that night in glasgow . maybe I will fly instead....

cardiff cia is a great venue. all unreserved seating. huge open floor space with seats behind.

i went last week for the first time and was impressed .
bar prices bit steep as they always are.
£3.50 for a bottle of strongbow/carlsberg. 2 quid for water.

I am going to the Cardiff gig with a good mate. We usually meet at The prince o Wales, a wetherspoons outlet not far from the train station. Will probably e wearing an Octavarium t-shirt, Dream Theater fan here. Would b nice to meet wiv any1 thats doing the gig. C ya there

Travelodge is usually good 4 gig nites, as its a monday it maybe really cheap too. Situated 5 mins walk from cia or less. A room can cost from as little as £26.00 per room per nite .
