I didnt know Italians liked The Pogues... i always figured they were huge Sinatra and Caruso fans. lol

Guys...I'm italian and many of us do like the pogues. They played here few times in the 80's/90's (Milan, Rome, Bologna...once they were supposed to play in Florence but the show was cancelled because Shane was too drunk...yeah, what a news !... ). Also just a couple of years ago Shane & The Popes played in Turin at a rock festival (Iggy Pop was there as well).
This year I'll se the Pogues in Glasgow (it will be my 12th gig of Pogues/Shane & Popes)...I'm definetly a pogue-addict and I really hope to see the Pogues once again in Italy.
As you see italians don't like only Caruso and Sinatra (even though they're two real giants of the past)...
