Another installment of the Bloguemahone has seen light of the day finally. The piece tells us something about music of our fathers and how hKipers lost to Manchester U and curry.

Pleased to be reading the latest chapter. Within its maze of passages lurk not only grus but heavy German instrumentation, sonic brothers (though not chemical ones), and Cliff's Notes of Sound Board Mastery. And of course there's much more beside.

I feel I should point out to everyone that wants to say "wasn't this due on Monday" that by my clock I have ten minutes left. WooHoo! Made the deadline!

Always a great read. :) Thanks James and DzM for making it possible for us to experience the tours again, and from the band's point of view...

"The time has come", MacRua said,
"To read of many things:
Of shoes - and mud - and plastic bags
Of pinstripe suits and Scream
and why to listen to iPod,
Whose uniform was green..."

"But wait a bit," the Medusians cried,
"Before the blog we kick...
For some of us were promised French
With hand on spanish prick!!!"

Thanks all... and especially, once again, Mr Fearnley. 8)

From a very early age we decided that the kids would be exposed to the unexpurgated version of the Pogues. And it never seemed to do them any harm. Mind you, they did have some strange interpretations of some of the lyrics when they were very young.

It's funny when you hear small kids singing songs that they have no idea waht the lyrics really mean. I thought my nephew some Pogues lyrics when he was about 3. He could really belt it out and it sounded so cute....but so wrong. 8)

Kids bawl their heads off, hail attacks the streets and the pates. Ominous screams drift from Shane’s room. Poor Paddy viciously kicks any shin nearby and mikes have lost all tastiness. Why, oh why? you ask. ‘It’s The Bad Neighbor’ comes the sinister whisper.
When you open the newly uploaded installment, you may also learn about the snags with Stasi coats and the intricacies of leatherette stool smuggling. And more. :)

Could´ve been the title of an episode from "Monty Python´s flying circus", too.
