got a feeling we will just have the dvd as a xmas present from the band rather than a tour seen as the last xmas one was billed as a farewell xmas tour as we all know ,depending on who you believed at the time.

Yeah but he's only kidding and if we all ask really nicely it will happen :P :D

That is fair. However those big gaps at the Academys just makes me think that the "not looking likely" may have/yet resolved itself to a positive decision. That of course being "noone will care that we billed '10 tour some sort of farewell shindig, they'll just be over the moon that we're coming back out to make their Christmases again".

Please?

A new thread entitled Ireland UK tour December 2012 which contains the words 'not likely' brings me as much joy as finding a pub with no beer.

If I knew for sure I would say for sure. All I can say with reasonable confidence is that we're looking at the possibility of London in mid-December but venue availabilty is not as open as some of you seem to think. I should know more by the end of this week or early next week.

There will not be, however, a tour.

What's that? A definite December-long residency at Brixton Academy, all their other scheduled acts unbooked due to demand for Pogues? AMAZING!
