Ha! Nobody was sure in 2001 how the shows were going to be. Even planning a live CD was a risk, but we did it because, at that stage, the Reunion was just a three week affair and there seemed no immediate prospect of futher shows. We had yet to figure out if we were even still talking to each other.
For the record, we filmed Manchester (2003?) and the Nokia Theatre, New York (2204?). It was the latter that made us realise we couldn't do this unless Shane accepted more lighting. The Manchester show just wasn't particularly good.
How much more lighting did he accept ?
e
We won't know that until Septenber 11!
I am curious...have there been any recordings in Bonn last year ? There was enough light and th show was very very good

God no, making a Pogues film requires the advance planning of a military operation. Mark, Zoe, Paul, Ian and Jackie attended a production meeting in Paris this week and I'm there at the moment with the record company on the band's behalf.

Fortunately, Shane does not appear to know any well-intentioned but imbecilic "friends" from Tipperary in Paris.

Anyway, this will be the first time i've seen the guys in a non English speaking country. Is it hard to recognise the songs and understand the words?

Hi!
we are from Spain, we want to go to the Hamburg gig.
Does anybody know if we can buy the tickets the same day of the gig?
Cheers!
David.
