Understand, but it was little confusion here, because now the word possible was written there.

Let's hope that the recording is with a reason ± bringing out a live album and DVD.

It's just that we've tried this a couple of times before and were not happy with the results. However, we have learned from previous errors (lighting etc) so, this one's looking promising.

Tickets for the 2 shows in Paris fixed, also a ticket for the Fat Monk who is playing at the same venue on Friday fixed
Really nice to see that the Boys are going to "Professionally" film the concerts in Paris.
We'll hope that this one will work 8)

Olympia is a classic venue Jimi Hendric Experience played there 18/10-1966
A short tour in France were their first gigs before they travelled back to England and the rest is history 8)

Only going to the first night in Paris, held off booking my Eurostar ticket for some time in case another gig was announced, sure enough the day after booking it the second date was announced. I will also be returning to the same venue shortly after the Pogues gig, got tickets for Leonard Cohen there on 29th September.

Paris in the Spring is overrated, Paris in the Autumn is where it's at.

The Cd Ultimate Collection from the Pogues contains a live CD from Brixton Academy 2001.

That concert was recorded for this CD, but are there no movie-material from that concert?, or just only this sound recordings?

Ha! Nobody was sure in 2001 how the shows were going to be. Even planning a live CD was a risk, but we did it because, at that stage, the Reunion was just a three week affair and there seemed no immediate prospect of futher shows. We had yet to figure out if we were even still talking to each other.

For the record, we filmed Manchester (2003?) and the Nokia Theatre, New York (2204?). It was the latter that made us realise we couldn't do this unless Shane accepted more lighting. The Manchester show just wasn't particularly good.

Nokia was 2006. I was really disappointed that did not see the light of day.

I was at one of the Nokia Theatre gigs, it was 2006, and agree it's a shame that the footage could not be used as it was one of the best Pogues shows that I have been to.

Maybe someone like Pixar could add a CGI Shane to the rest of the footage 8)
