No, not the furthest Kathleen. I'm flying from Dublin to Paris except the jet i've chartered (which includes Champagne, cocain and dancing girls) will be heading west. The long way round, so i get value for money.

No, not the furthest Kathleen. I'm flying from Dublin to Paris except the jet i've chartered (which includes Champagne, cocain and dancing girls) will be heading west. The long way round, so i get value for money.

I've bought tickets but have not made travel arrangements yet. Can you swing by and pick us up in Dakota? I'll put a blindfold on my wife if necessary.

Two questions, what day do The Pogues play at STRUMMER IN THE CITY and where is the venue?For sure the venue will be announced but us fans have to arrange for travel, accomodation and so on,my kids will want to know so they can ask if'we're nearly there yet?'

I'm not really up to speed on this yet, though my information is that we're playing Saturday 18th August and I'm not clear why the organisers are being cagey about dates and locations.

i`m guessing its taking place on worthy farm ,hence the secrecy hope im wrong tho and its in the fields opposite me no -one has applied for a festival license from sedgmoor council so that basically leaves somerset and mendip councils ,been racking me brains to where it could be if its not worthy farm

Kathleenwitha K, you want to see The Pogues in new town or city, you could do a lot worse then Stockton on Tees, you will be glowing for the rest of your life, with a cough to match[sorry Smoggies, only kiddin']

Pilton will do nicely, makes sense, i have just booked this and i might do Stockton as well. Paris was very tempting but a festival with the Pogues Alabama 3 Billy Bragg and Reverend and the makers is just to good to miss and its in memory of the great Joe strummer and i normally go to Glastonbury anyway .
5,000 capacity should be a brilliant festival, roll on .........
