its official pogues to headline strummer of love ,got my tickets last week just need the location now!!

This looks good, but it's on my dad's birthday. I'm sure he won't mind if I go and see him another day though

I would also need know the location before I can even think about booking to see if it is at all possible that I can get there (gave up the idea of Stockton, too many train changes).

What date are the Pogues playing the Strummerfest please?

I tweeted them earlier to ask why the didn't reveal the location so as I could book my tickets and make travel and accommodation arrangements. They were a bit cagey but have assured me that I will be able to get there from Liverpool.

They are vaguely irritating, these festivals that feel the need to do this secrecy thing about where they're taking place.

Not that we're in Britain that weekend anyway, dammit.

i have got tickets for this . it was a toss up between this and Paris and this won its got a great line up, cant think why they dont say where its happening even if it is Pilton, so what, hope it is though, feels like home for me, gonna be brilliant wherever it is

i think if pilton was named as the site for this people would buy a ticket thinking it was going to turn out to be a small glastonbury event .
i`ve been asking around locallly and no one knows or is saying nothing .
