I spent half a day trying to figure it out.
Will be very sad  if a savvier person knows how to get one. Without using the dreaded telephone , of course.

I wanted to go $hopping there.
Though the equivalent amount of $ has now been invested in Celtics tickets.
Not gonna happen for me.

Good luck.

Does your son speak Japanese? I've a niece who was an Asian Humanities major and is fluent. Just amazing. So cool.

He's been studying the language for about two years. I don't think he's comfortable enough to wing it with credit card info. My son's been majoring under the banner of Political Science but he's been mostly involved in Japanese culture and alternate energy.

Rich, I didn't know about your son but the other poor sod who has been pleading for info in English for weeks now on various sites to no avail, has been troubling my conscience.

Please do me a favour and get his name on FB and PM me that and your son's name and I'll make sure they're both on the Tokyo guests list with a +1.

I haven't been following the thread so forgive me if I've somehow misunderstood.

Any word on how Sydney ticket sales are going? Just wondering about the possibility of a second show seeing as though we're already flying down. :D

Last saw The Pogues at the Hammy O, i think it was 1985. I can't believe i'm now going to see them twice in 4 days. I hope the band have aged better than i have!

A second Sydney show would be great it would make the drive extra worthwhile.

So you're doing the Brisbane-Bluesfest-Sydney road trip ... I was hoping to do the same, but don't thuink I can get Easter weekend off work. :( There's still Bris-Sydney flights available for less than $100 at the moment though. :)

Correct, unfortunately i have some medical issues that make it unfeasible to fly. It'll be by far the longest distance i've travelled for a concert, but hey these things have to be done.

On a very tenuosly related note, the other day I was reading a few days ago that (rapper) KRS-One is getting a (four-week-long) boat from the US to Brisbane, Australia, because he has a fear of flying!

For those of you in Japan who aren't sure how to get tickets, the easiest way is probably to go to Lawson (the convenience store) and buy them there.

http://smash-jpn.com/band/2012/03_pogues/tokyo/adv.html

On that page it has this: LAWSON Ticket (L : 79338). They have a little kiosk/computer thing in Lawson that you have to search for the number with and it will print out a receipt. Take that to the register, they will print out the ticket, and you pay for it with cash there. If you can speak a little Japanese you can ask the people working there to help you out with everything.

I haven't got tickets for it yet, but I've got other tickets the same way.

I am full of jealous Jennylois! Have a fantastic time!!!! How many will you see? Shows, that is...not Pogues. I assume you will see 8 Pogues.
