A bit of bloodletting in Titus Andronicus seems somehow inevitable...

Hmm, they seem to have renamed the band they're supporting: "...After that, it’s onto a tour with Shane MacGowan and friends."

I strongly suggest they get our name right before they report for work on March 3. We're a bit fussy about these things.

Not so fussy as to the point of being unfriendly I hope? In their Titus' defense by my reading it seemed to be the journalist and not the band that called the Pogues "Shane MacGowan and friends".

Also from the artical......

Titus Andronicus 2011 Tour Dates:
02/10 – New York, NY @ Mercury Lounge
03/03 – Chicago, IL @ Congress Theatre *
03/04 – Detroit, MI @ Royal Oak Music Theater *
03/07 – Baltimore, MD @ Rams Head Live *
03/08 – Washington, D.C. @ 9:30 Club *
03/11 – Boston, MA @ House of Blues *
03/12 – Boston, MA @ House of Blues *
03/15 – New York, NY @ Terminal 5 *
03/17 – New York, NY @ Terminal 5 *

Is this a typo or does this mean they won't be supporting on 3/16 ?

I see. I which case please forgive my careless reading. I'm in the middle of doing my tax accounts and am consequently in a foul humour.

Indeed it seems you are right. Apologies for misattributing. Stupid hack.
