So if for some horrible reason I don't get to see the Pogues, I still will enjoy a long overdue visit with my sister. Seriously though...Pogues, St Patricks Day, New York, drinking, friends, wildness, fun! I'm just a tad excited...let's put it that way! Got to calm down...I'm going out of my mind with it all :D

well i've quit drinking (i'm making considerations for these shows, though. not 100% sure just yet...) but i'd love to meet up. i'm gonna try and hit a couple of shows if i can. maybe baltimore and dc if it's possible. definitely nyc. i'm sure we'll chat more as the days get closer.
Lend me ten pounds, I'll buy you a drink.

Yes! Definitely! If you are not feeling like drinking we can do a non-drinking meet up. I can do that! We could get rowdy in a Starbucks or something! Good for you on the quitting drinking. Not an easy thing. I try to keep my drinking in moderation. Although that's the problem isn't it! Good, then we'll chat as the days go on and plan a meeting :D

Hey Kids! The "official" Medusan NYC St. Jimmy's meet up takes place at St. Andrews. Why is it official, you might ask? Because DzM has been known to show up...shirtless....on a motorcycle.

Please join us, details as the date approaches.

Looking forward to it! Although, if it's on the 17th, we'll need to be good and early :D

The Googles say this is Terminal 5: http://www.terminal5nyc.com/

610 W 56th St New York, NY 10019

Looks a long way from St Andrews. Perhaps DzM will have to rethink his shirtless motorcycle riding entrance.

Wow! Now - break out the atlas, airline and train schedules, credit card; check how much vacation time I've got left.
Where's my NYC subway map? Do you have the passports? Who's coming to feed the cat while we're gone? What time is our flight again?
I'm still not packed!

I'm gonna drive everyone in the office crazy....

Yes --"start spreading the news ". The news is thrilling indeed . I had just awoken from dreaming about seeing Joe Strummer at a Pogues concert and then I see Territa's post -- I am just overjoyed !!! DZM shirtless on a motorcycle ??? Wasn't that from one of my previous dreams where I said his voice sounded like Robert Mitchum ???

3 nights in NYC-dear lord. Terminal 5 is a very popular venue of late, though not my favourite. It has 3 floors, the ground floor is the place to be as the other 2 floors are shite unless you get a spot leaning over the balcony to watch. Saying that, its a decent location just off the west side highway.....not too many good bars in the area- a suggestion is Druids pub, a short walk from terminal 5!

Still cannot wait! for March. Yikeeeeeeeeeeees!

See the front page of Pogues.com for on-sale dates.

I see pre-sale tickets are from Monday, does anyone know if we will be able to book then and if so is there a password to use?
