i am also around, though quite busy - but maybe the promise of a pint with some new friends might inspire me to work a little faster.

So fucking glad to have met you all for the first time: CdnSteve and Mrs, KathleenwithaK and Mr (excellent fellow!), Irishrose and Mrs, NewjerseyRich (and son-they owe me a photo!), and Ms Murphy.

LC, the photos you seek should be here. I have to go through others of the band. I snap photos on the take a thousand method. If I click 1000 I hope 100 are good.

We were there too, couldn't make it to the pre-gig meet up due to dinner over running but made it to the show in time to see the second half of Titus Andronicus's set. Back home in London now though.

Just got home too - wow what a brilliant week it was.

The 15th I miscalculated the trip on the Ferry to midtown and how to get to the venue completely and maybe just got there with about 15 minutes to spare - unfortunately I did not see the support band once - then again I never do here either.

I did the same thing as ClarkyCat - I found myself checking whether the Pub - St Andrews - was the right one, I walked in expecting to find the place getting sung to the ground and steeped in atmosphere, in fact it seemed like more a restaurant where city types had a quick beer after work. Still I met my old Norwegian friends Oyvind and Jan and their friend in there who had come over for all 3 gigs. We headed to a pub called the Hibernian which was a bit less of a leg stretch to Terminal 5 after a few more jars. I think the name of the pub we met at on the 17th was McCoys near 52nd street - not all that really, but good company and a good laugh.

Terminal 5 was an OK venue - no Brixton Academy but OK - I personally thought the sound was a bit quiet on the first night - I dont know whether this was just me - but it sounded better the second two. The gigs were outstanding, every performance as polished as they were in the UK and (one of)Irelands last year. Sorry I didnt get to meet lots of new people - except a guy - Ray and his girlfriend who had come up from Florida for the gig. I was just about the last out of Terminal 5 on the 17th - except those of you who were maybe at after party, and me and my mate were sure we saw Val Kilmer leaving the venue - now we had had alot to drink so I might have got this wrong - were there any other sightings (only to assure me I am not going mad - and not because I am a stargazer).

A great time was had - my friend Dave was treated to his first 2 Pogues live shows ( he couldnt do 3 he had told me in advance the lightweight), we ate colossal meals, drank small pints and walked for miles and miles and miles.

And now were home......bollox :x

Thank you to the Pogues for this amazing opportunity to see you live again - these were great gigs and I will be somewhere in europe watching again this summer (probably london).

I could only really afford to go one night what with hotel stays and bringing the whole gang along with me. Plus my little boy Thomas was waiting for me back at my sisters house :D Would have been nice to meet everyone though.

The St. Patrick's Day show in New York was absolutely fantastic. What a terrific show. Highlights for me were London Girl (I loved the wee dance Shane and Spider did) and Irish Rover. But the whole show from start to finish was amazing.
