Layers, I tell ya. Will we ever forget Chicago 2007?

No, we shall never forget...those glasses froze to my face

We were at both of those Chicago shows, met Territa on the floor the first night. Did not remember it being that cold, although we started drinking early that day.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I've gone freezing all of a sudden :)

Oh, this made my day. :D I'm sick with excitement. The best part is the distinct possibility that I can afford to go the most most lustrous city of Detroit, too.

This makes the Pogues dream I had the other night kind of creepy now, especially considering everyone was dressed for cold weather.

Any idea when the dates/cities will be more final?

First time we went to see The Pogues at Brixton in December, we arrived early at the venue, as we're supposed to do to get to the place we need to be. It was so cold in there that my girls were convinced that the dome thing on the top of the Academy was open to the sky. Soon warms up in there when things get going, though.
Come to Brixton, all you Swedes!

Wish we could do both but Dublin and Killarney are already booked.

Yay! but Detroit, really? interesting. I had the impression they were closing that city.

The rumors of our demise have been greatly exaggerated across the Globe. We'll welcome The Pogues in `11 just as we welcomed Shane and Spider when they toured and even Mr. Tom Waits a couple years back. This is a great Rock & Roll city with a rich history and a great work ethic. Don't believe everything you hear - we have our problems but it's a great place. When (if) the time comes I'll be available to help folks with their travel plans!

Thanks Phil!!!! Can't wait!

you know, terry, i'm seriously considering hitting the north east for this tour, too! even if it means me holding back a little in europe and saving some cash. i've got some friends from the navy that wanna see the pogues and who wanna have a get together. what better time than saint patrick's day, right? a few friends have already said yes. depending on when the shows are i'd be taking in a couple. it falls on my spring break!

This is excellent news! I'm sure to be in NYC, but with some luck hopefully the Mrs and I can make multiple shows. Boston, Baltimore, and DC!
