I'm not looking forward to the cold weather. It's been mid 70's to 80's for the last few weeks in FL. Frost this morning though. Better dig the warm clothes back out!

I don't think I've ever had that. After every show, there's usually a good few days of constantly thinking, "Yay! I've seen The Pogues!" And being very excited and cheery. A sort of natural high?
That's a good approachI know of a few others who have the Pogues come down, Phro37 I believe has had it in the past.
I'm going to take a leaf out of your book and see if it works for me!

O'B, are you going to meet up with us at St. Andrew's first? It will be me, CdnSteve, Territa, Lil'C, Carmen IrishRose and a host of other Medusans I suspect....
<waving hello> Please to be hoisting one for me in my absence, wish I could be joining you all again in New York this year!

For some reason, I'm getting the "come down" ahead of the show -- not sure how to handle approaching the last? No real worries, once I pack I'll get back into it. Which reminds me, I really don't want to pack my docs. If I wear my Vibram fivefingers for the show, will my feet get broken?

Sounds like the docs would be the best bet! I'm procrastinating on the packing for some reason, stupid of me! Just printed the boarding passes. One way I'll beat the pre/after show come down is by remembering these fine words of a song you may have heard once or twice before:
"Oh the words that he spoke
Seemed the wisest of philosophies
There's nothing ever gained
By a wet thing called a tear
When the world is too dark
And I need the light inside of me
I'll go into a bar and drink
Fifteen pints of beer"
