So I'm sitting here packing tonight, and while I'm taking a minimal amount of stuff to Chicago (it's only a one night stay, after all), I decided that I should break out one of my old school pairs of Docs as a fitting tribute to what may be the last time I see The Pogues. So, if any of you are in Chicago tomorrow night, look for the fat guy in the natty cordovan brown Doc wingtips...that'll be me!!

(Yes, this was more or less a pointless post...just had nothing but this show on my mind for about two days now, so felt the need to post just to get some of it out!! :D )

I have called in fake sick for tomorrow. My boss has wished me to get well...idiot. Canada will destroy Detroit. SAFE travels to the POGUES CREW.

I received e-mails for the 15th and 16th, but not James Cagney Day. I hope that they remember I bought a ticket.

Got the 3/16 ticket yesterday as well.

I requested the day off as soon as I saw they were coming to Detroit, like November 22nd, and i live here! I've reminded everyone three times and told them I'll be inaccessible the entire day. Hope to see you before the show at one of our local watering holes.
