'Tis a mere 19 hours until my train rolls out of St. Louis on its way to the Windy City...yes, at 4:30am...and probably less than 36 until I the stage lights dim and "Straight To Hell" comes on...not that I'm excited or anything... ;) :D

Have fun!
See all you Detroit peoples and fellow Canadians on Friday. Safe journeys to all.

Uh oh, you're all doomed if you're counting on me. :)

I will have a pen in hand or do my best using my phone, depending on how the evening is going. If the set list resembles the Christmas tour's at all we are in for a great show. Not that I have any doubts.

mgleason, I'm hoping to be at Gusoline Alley, or if it's crazy busy, the Royal Oak Brewery by around 4:00pm.
We're probably pre-pre-drinking at our hotel.
I'll be the tall, bald, already drunk guy wearing a black Pogues polo shirt (yeah, I know what I'm wearing already! ).
I told Mick from Canada (there's only one) that I'd meet him there.
See you soon.
Cheers

Chicago hasn't sold out yet?? The Ticketweb site is still offering tickets!!

Not really sure how to take that...but if my friends can still buy tickets, that's a good thing!

Dear The Pogues Fan,

Your tickets for the March 16th show at Terminal 5 were shipped out yesterday and will be arriving very soon. All tickets are sent through First Class mail through the United States Postal Service and will arrive in a white envelope stating, “Dated Material Enclosed”. If you do not have them three (3) business days before the event date, please contact our office at info@artistarena.com.

The question is Shane playing with them and will he show up. Chicago show is the congress which has seats and the tix are a 100 bucks. Too much for a show where you have seating.

I don't recall seats in 2007, except in the balcony and tickets are NOT $100.

bubbo wrote:VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION about House of Blues.
I bought a ticket for the friday show at Boston. 1st level ticket were sold out so I bought a 2nd level ticket. Is there any chance to do some moshing there?
If the answer is yes, as I hope, I'd better to buy some contact lenses!

I saw the Pogues last time they were in Boston at the House of Blues, and other than breaking a rib and f'in up a good pair of shoes had a fantastic time. Having said that i was, and will be again this year, on the first level. I saw Gogol Bordello at the House and was on the third level, not something you want to do with a few drinks in, I'm not sure how much moshing you're gonna get in on the second floor.
Talking of Boston, where are people meeting up? McGreevys might be a little cliche but it's not a bad bar, other than that it's all the Fenway Faves, or maybe the place opposite beerworks that does really good cheap bbq and has a brew pub downstairs.
It would seem from Spider's comments that this really could be the last time, so let's make it a good one, and hope that the "notoriously unreliable"(Billboard) Mr. MacGowan brings his A game......
