It's 3pm EST and I haven't heard from my buddy to find out if he can go in March or not...or at least which day so I can go ahead and buy tickets.

Let me get this right, presale tickets are on sale through Thursday?

BTW, a thank you to the band for a presale system that is easy and gives loyal fans first crack at tix. This is the way it should be done.

I've gone for the 15th. Call me a wimp I don't care :D I just don't want to get caught up on travel chaos etc and not be able to get out. My little boy will be waiting for me and I get in a big panic if I feel I'll be trapped away some how by crowds or transportation issues. 15th it is! I'm really glad that's out the way as I was having mental issues with the anticipation of the purchase. I can enjoy Thanksgiving now.... Seriously, am I really going to see the Pogues again? Pinch myself...YES! I am awake! It's real! Horrrayyyyy

Can't get any better than this.

A weird Pogues symmetry to my life. My son was born premature five years ago today, the same day the Pogues announced their 1st North American Tour since they got back together. Today my son turns five and we got tickets to the Boston show. Plus, this week I caught my wife saying she really likes that "new Subaru Hockey Commercial". Of course, she had to admit defeat, as despite indulging me on my love of the Pogues, she usually mumbles something about
"no teeth -can't understand". Victory is mine!!

Mike, I've had that too! The day before the tickets went on sale, I got a reimbursement for my classes (so had just enough money for a change!), my sister lives in NY and wants to see the Pogues and said I can stay at her house, and it turns out I'm off work that week, paid! I have that same 'no teeth' argument in mind. My husband is attending though, I think he'll love it. I had victory over him a couple of Christmas's ago when he went to see NOFX and they did a cover of Fairytale of New York. HA. He came home all surprised saying 'hey, they played that one Pogues song!". Don't even get me started on the cat swallowing the needle story.

We're in! 15th and 17th for us. I'll leave the 16th open for now. Apparently there are some other things to do in NYC besides seeing The Pogues. Who knew?

Irishrose? are you gonna make it?

DzM? C'mon - you know you want it! You won't have to buy beer.....

Looking forward to meeting friends, old and new!
