I just got turned on to a terrific new folk/rock band(well, new for me) called Mumford and Sons who would be a great opener. High energy, great harmonies, check our the youtube videos for their songs The Cave and Little Lion Man. I'd be delighted with the Levellers as well though

though I can't count myself a fan of the Mumfords, I think you may find they have already long since left support act status behind them. Unless U2 "discover" them of course.

The Levellers opening for the UK dates would be a great choice.Mumford and co probably think thet are too big to open for anyone right now!Heard them on Radio 1 on Monday, they were ok,nothing special, though Zane Lowe was positively salivating all over them, they obviously appeal to a younger audience,Indie-folk?its been done before and done much better....

I couldnt give a flying fuck if i was as big as Elvis id never in a million years turn down supportin Pogues! or any band i loved for that matter. Mumford and Sons are shit live aswell. they try goin nuts as if theyre Slayer or something an it just looks stupid. I'm into a band called Erland & The Carnival and i think theyd go down really well. its a realistic support slot aswell. Get Onto Phil Mate!!!! :)

Er - I wasn't joking - support act is "Sparrow and the workshop" - if you follow link for tickets from the front page of Medusa Forum they are listed there as support for all gigs.
