[b]Getting Match Fit/Pacing Y'Self

It always makes me nervous at this time of year - another year older - more unable to mosh than the year earlier !

I have tried the atkins diet for a week but ate the bacon/sausauges in bread rolls so it didnt work. Tried switching from stella to stella 4% but didnt like the taste (and it s the same price), so i still find myself gasping for breath crossing the road.

Earlier this year in Luxembourg I honestly thought my heart was going to exit my chest by the time Bottle of Smoke was played - and down the front was nowhere near as intense as Brixton or Manchester.

A long time follower - these songs mean everything to me drunk or sober - so on wednesday will start another chapter of my 27 year following - See you in Dublin - Dont let me drink too much and miss it like last year :D

I'll bring the defibrillator (spelling?). Which ever of us collapses first, the other will just say "STAND BACK............CLEAR..........FUCK, HE'S BOLLIXED"

Either that or hope we make it to the first ballad. After that i'm usually ok.

Fuck. I really hope that I can make it to Dublin tomorrow. The weather is horrible and many flights has been cancelled... I'm in Scotland right now, was supposed to see them in Glasgow but I have to be home in Norway by then :( So I'm really hoping that it will work out.. It would be my first Pogues gig so I better be able to get into Dublin! or else I shall declare war on the snow!

Is it that bad? Just checked the Nowegian forecast site, yr.no which is normally reliable and Wednesday and Thursday looks cold but no snow. Would be mad if the flights are cancelled. travelling from Gothenburg via London to Dublin and I hope the flights are ok.

Are you flying via Gatwick? If so no problems at the moment, according to their website Gatwick Airport is operating as normal today, Dublin airport's website also say they are operating as normal.

I had no real difficulty getting from Heathrow to Dublin this morning. However, the ground is still quite treacherous in Dublin itself and would benefit from a pause in the blizzards.

Damn. Won't make it to the Brixton Show this time -.- ...the reason is that there are exams in my school at the time of the concerts. I don't want to disappoint my parents and have to get the fucking school leaving examination. This is really bad and I'd give anything to be in London but I fear that school goes first this time, as bad as it sounds. Well, hopefully it will not be their last tour, that would be a majestic fuck up, big time.

Anyway, If anybody is interested in 2 standing stall tickets for London, Brixton Academy, December 20th, please write me a pm.

Have fun at the shows, I'm sure they are going to be as brilliant as last year ;-)

Good Evening!

We´re flying via Stanstead, I´ll check the airport sites. Never thought of that, thanks.

Dublin Olympia theatre - 8 December

I was at Wednesday's gig and I have to say, I've never been so proud to be Australian as I was when the lads played And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda. I was front and centre, pint in hand, tears streaming down my face. The whole show was simply extraordinary- thankyou so much for an experience I never thought I'd be lucky enough to have.
