Or not..... I'm flying home the morning after the 2nd night. I just assumed Philip had the date correct. I wonder how cheaply Michael O'Leary can get me home for after the 3rd night and LAST night.

Well fuck it anyway! i wanted to be at the last show of the tour but i'm flying home on the 23rd

Congrats on the ticket sales though 8)

BOLLOX  been staggering my ticket purchases a bit too relaxedly I now realise. Got my 2 nights in Dublin, Manchester and now 2 Brixton but have missed monday ticket availability :(

I guess I am just being greedy and self indulgent and should let others have their chance - unless those others are touts on the bandwagon or ebay scalper scum.

Changing the subject to celebrity spotting - Miss Walshy were you on London Bridge overground station at lunchtime today - if not it was your doppelganger.

St. Michael O'Leary unfortunately wants 90 Euro to bring me safely back to Dublin. A few years ago i wouldn't have thought twice, fucking recession

Oh well, i'll be there tuesday night, please God.

Hmmmmmmmm. Friday. ... Hmmmm.... .... Where was I... .. No. It wasn't me. Friday lunchtimes are for long pub sessions, as most know. Bet this stranger was pretty though, huh? :)

C'mon Pogues, hurry up. Hurry up days, hurry up month. Hurry. I can't wait any longer. My patience is shot to bits.

Partly why I went for Dublin this year, two weeks less to wait than Brixton.

i'm really ripped that there's no belfast gig. Dublin on a tuesday night is a pisser to get to and get away from. Its an over night stay for anyone who doesn't live in dublin. cost benefit analysis has to work both ways the fans need to be looked at to. there's bound to be some consideration given to the loyal hard drinking fans in belfast who came to see your show over the last few years. Surely if its all cost benefit analysis you could look favourably on the belfast fans who have bought your product in bulk over the last few years. surely you could cut them a deal.

The Pogues can´t play everywhere can they! It takes 3 hours by train from Belfast to Dublin. I´ve been flying from Sweden for 6 years in a row now to see my favourite band in Glasgow, London or Dublin. I´d be happy if they would play every Christmas in Sweden. Take a day off from work, it´s cheap to stay in Dublin, have a lot to drink and enjoy the show. It may be your last chance :D

There is no "cost-benefit analysis". We just try not to lose money.

Since the reunion gigs started in 2001, they only played Belfast in '08 & '09 so what did you do for the other 5 years they played??? No gigs '02 &'03. Surely you understand that they can't play the same venue every year where there's a small population as not everyone who was in the King's Hall (me, Walshy, Heather, Jake and Noelle included) in '08 was going to go back again in '09, hence lower attendance and lower again if they played this year. Not withstanding the fact we're all broke!

Why can't one of your gang drive??? God knows i've done it enough over the years. You'd be back in Belfast by 2am at the latest, probably nearer 1.30 that time of night with no traffic. Big Deal.

The band now have to put on 3 shows in Ireland to play to the 8000 punters they used to play to in 1 night at The Point. You do the maths.

Most of the buzz about Pogues gigs over the years was the travelling to new venues and meeting new people anyway. Why not make a weekend of it in Killarney? Leave friday lunchtime and home sunday night. I'll do the 2 Dublin gigs, drive from Tipp for the first night, watch gig drive home and into work next morning. Up again on 2nd night have a few beers and stay over. Then off to Brixton week after.

Cop on, get your arse in gear and we'll see you all for a pint in Dublin or Killarney 8) 8)
