How big is the Olympia FR Mcgreer ? i always do at least 2 gigs, Brum and another, though i have done three different cities in the past, love London and Glasgow, i did not like the Point, it was way to big and informal but it would be great to get over to Dublin again or even Killarney or maybe both, cheers for the advance advice Mr C, spot on as ever,
Roll on Christmas, Villa top of the League, the Pogues and Xmas pud

the Olympia is an old Vaudeville Theatre of rapidly fading glory [if they repair the Front of House as thoroughly as they recently refurbished the backstage artist areas, they have a shot at continued long life, however] which, in our configuration - we take out the stalls seats - holds upwards of 1600. We will be doing two shows there this year before Jedward put the seats back in for their starring appearance in Cinderella. Panto already Louis?

So I guess the Dublin shows will be on the 20th and 21st of Decembre ? On the 22nd Cinderella starts...

More likely in the beginning of December. There are no dates booked at The Olympia between 2nd and 5th of December. Sounds good to me :D

Actually Mats, the Dublin shows are a little later than that, though they still kick off the tour.

As far as I can see, those are the only dates not accounted for on the Olympia/MCD website.

According to ticketmaster.ie the 8th and 9th are still vacant as well as the days from the 12th to the 18th...
What days do I have to be off work ?

Wonderful! Hopefully in the Brixton Academy again, it's a brilliant venue. Great! :)

This is the news I've been waiting for. It wouldn't be Christmas without the annual Pogues night at Brixton. I love that everyone always needs to try to work out the exact dates! We'll find out in a couple of weeks guys. That still leaves plenty of time to make arrangements.

I'm feeling festive already!

In this context it means "not already booked."

Relax. Nobody knows the dates yet except myself and the other Pogues, but every year around this time, we like to play "guess the calendar". All will be revealed next Tuesday and all will be on sale (except the Irish shows which usually go on sale a bit later) next Friday.
