i tried meeting up with the swedes at the canturbury arms in london two years ago but couldn't find them.... maybe this year. i'd love to find myself in a "medusan fan" pic with them.

I think we never made it to The Canterbury that night, it was probably packed and we had our pints at The Beehive insted.

No worries. I walked around for a while asking every group of guys if they were Swedish or had overheard a group that was. Ended up making friends with a bar owner and her husband. Drank for free all night! Pleaselet me know when you all fnd out your plans. Id love to meet up.

Also I'm considering adding Glasgow to the list! My semester ends early enough!

yeah it was great! i had just ordered a drink from the bar when she came up and started talking to me. or maybe we were standing next to one another. i don't remember. i told her i was travelling alone and before i'd gotten my beer she had invited me to sit with her, her husband, and two regulars from her bar (we were at the canterbury arms but she owned the jolly sailor in another part of town) and we chatted and drank. i've still got her email addy. i'll have to drop a line. sandie was her name (i don't think she was from vancouver though :p )

But Sandie, yeah, she's really lovely. I know her aswell because The Sailor was my drinking hole before and after CPFC games. She split up from the husband (Brian) though and has left the pub.. the place is now ran by a Thai couple. Anyway I bumped into her at The Pogues so it was probably the same night you met her, small world.

what're the odds? it would've been nice to have met you and added to the medusan list speaking of which, are you gonna be there this year? i'm trying to meet as many folks as i can.

that's too bad about sandie. she was a great lady. i would've sat all alone the whole night had it not been for her.

Looks like I'm going to Dublin, only I can't afford to buy tickets before October 5th. Oh well, I have to take my chances, wasn't completely sold out in Dublin last year if I remember correctly.
