Then fuck away off! :x

Am I missing something? Where I come from, 'fuck away off' makes no sense whatsoever. Maybe 'Fuck off away' or even - at a stretch - 'fuck a way off' might. Is fuck away off an in-joke or just really wrong?

Whoohoo! Killarney? Now that's added a new dimension to the "which shows to see" conumdrum. :D

Just to make sure... what is the difference between a standing and circle ticket for the Brixton shows?

Thanks!

Standing tickets are for downstairs, where there is standing. Circle tickets are for upstairs, where there is seating. Hope that's clear enough.

It would appear that the 'heated debate', as Caroline Aherne's alter-ego Mrs. Merton, on the December tour has reached the quality media.

There's a media aura around our fora!

Dear fellow fans,

This week, my kids turned two and five years old, respectively, so this morning I set out to clean my house after all the birthday parties this had entailed. My soundtrack was "If I Should Fall From Grace With God", which I listened to several times from beginning to end. The music, all of it, is so beautiful, and rings so true to me, even though I'm neither Irish or English or anything of the sort, nor male, nor Catholic, nor drunk, etc. So couldn't we all just ... be thankful for a moment ... that this music exists, that this band still exists, and that they are even still touring (although not in my home country - but I remain hopeful), in spite of all the challenges they've had to overcome, and are continually overcoming, during the past three decades. Sorry if I'm being a bit unctious about this. I'm just genuinely and permanently thrilled that The Pogues are a part of the world, and I wish the discussion would turn back to this miracle :-)

All the best to all of you ...

hi,

I'm thinking of coming to BIRMINGHAM for the gig, but my plane should arrive at 17h45. On O2 Academy website it says doors at 6PM.
Is is possible to have an idea about Pogues stage time already please ? How many times to go from the airport to the venue ?
I come from France, so I don't want to do all of that if I miss 40 minutes of the show :?
thanks a lot

Have booked tickets for Birmingham. Apart from my obvious disappointment earlier in the thread regarding the dates, I'm actually excited about going to see The Pogues in a city I've never seen them play in before. Now to try and persuade my medusan friends to go to Birmigham also. :?
