I am guessing/hoping that this is an inevitability?

Saw The Pogues for the first time last year at the Apollo in Manchester (forgive me, I'm 22) and it was an amazing night

Just hoping for another UK tour this year. Should I get my hopes up?

I hope a tour does go ahead, saw The Pogues last year in Glasgow and it still stands as the best gig I have ever been to.

Hopefully Bristol will be on the agenda this time....

Does anyone know if The Pogues have ever played in Denmark - or have any plans to? Norway, Germany, Russia ... Why not Denmark? I'm a fan; I know quite a few other fans. We would do anything to be there.

Good gracious yes, we played regularly in Denmark between 1985 and 1993, mainly in Copenhagen. Make us an offer we can't refuse and we'll be there again.

Really??!! I was too young and clueless to find that out back then. What kind of venues - do you remember? I will start a fundraiser then

PS. I have since spoken to a friend who woke up in his tent at Roskilde Festival in 1992 to hear the most the most warm, energizing, friendly, yet provocative music, and it turned out to be The Pogues (whom he didn't know then) playing on the main stage, making Hells Angels bikers dance around arm in arm, indeed making everybody feel spirited (if that's a word ...) and happy. So now we're on a mission to bring The Pogues back to Denmark again!

I been to Denmark...1974....Esjberg..(spelling)...got arrested twice...damn alcohol and drugs! NO MORE!
