Does anybody know how many people fit in the Hamburg and Munster venues ? Maybe you, Phil ?

max ~150.000 people

We´re strongly thinking of going to Münster. For a better planning - does anyone know if this is a festival or a Pogues show with one support act ? At what time do shows in the Schlosspark usually end ?

We´ll have to see whether to travel by car or by train. Trouble is that the last train for Hannover leaves Münster at 22.10, which might be a bit too early.

the organizer said that there would be 2 special guests (will be announced early May) and the end would be between 22/23 o' clock,
which sadly means you wouldn't be able to see the whole concert.

Tickets for the Dranouter festival are ordered, as well as a hotel in the nearby city of Ieper....Will The Pogues play a full show at the Dranouter fesitval ? Or will it be a much shorter festival show ? Re.tickets for The Dranouter festival,contact their website,i do not have their email address,but just click on to Dranouter Folk Festival,you should find everything you need.I have been to Dranouter 4 times ,i think the head honcho stilll organises Marnique Deswarte, a rather bad tempered Belgian who went apeshit when Shane and the Popes failed to turn up in 1995,i was in his office when he received the news,boy was he mad.Mr.Deswarte is no Michael Eavis thats for sure,i might go to Dranouter,it used to be a great festival,expect it still is.Have fun if you go.

The 8 hour train trip from Lake Constance to Hamburg via Berlin is booked (For all germans: better check now if there are any bahn.de Spartickets for 29€ left - I was lucky to get one). Looking forward to see some familiar faces there. My lovely girlfriend will be traveling directly to Hamburg. I'll meet her there for her first Pogues gig. It'll be the night before her birthday, so I hope this will be a good present

I shall be at the Melweg on August 1, travelling from Zwolle up in the Noord,the last 4 times i have seen The Pogues has been in the UK,all at Brixton Academy.I was in Groningen and Tilburg when the POGUEMAHONE line up toured Holland in December 1995,despite familiar faces not present ,i enjoyed both shows like the vast majority of the audience.The Melkweg show will be not only be their first appearence at this venue[except for Shane]BUT the first time the classic line up has played in Holland since December 1990.Welcome back Pogues,all the tickets will all go,no problem.
