It's looking like London, though not the Academy. Hang on to your hats, details later.

==--==

Update from DzM: Philip has announced that the St Patrick's Day gig is not to be.

Sounds good. At least there is not a lot of snow in March I guess :roll:

Intriguing, hmmm.

Well the Hammersmith Odeon's website shows someone else playing that night.

Shepherds Bush Empire and The Town & Country Club both seem to have no one listed that evening.

T&C would be good, saw you there many years ago.

Why on earth am I getting excited? I will be working nights that week, never considered another St Patricks Night gig in London might be on the cards, should be a good night.

N.B for younger readers the Hammersmith Odeon is called the HMV Apollo these days, and the Town and Country Club is the HMV Forum.

Bit of good news don't you think Smoz? After the misery yesterday?

Delighted.

I think you should sack off Mumford and Sons - they'll be around for ages.

:)

Nah, you need to catch them while they're young and fresh and vibrant, and playing reasonably small venues.
I think I have a spare ticket for them for the week before, but that's probably no use to Fr McG.

This is all very tantalising. Is it just a one-off Pogues gig that's being talked of?
