Only Palace could sell England's most promising teenage striker (for a pittance), then put a defender up front who goes on to score a hat trick.
.

I think we might have bought the wrong player off you!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!

In all seriousness, is Moses any good?

Oh and keeping on thread; any news yet??? I've got some Pogues virgins wanting to attend!

In short, yes, you have picjed up a cracking player, shall we take this discussion to the Football Forever thread? See my post over there.

Bring on the Villa, I sense a draw at SP then a replay at Villa Park, I recall an epic FA Cup win for us up there twenty years ago

Apologies for taking this thread off topic.

I've never been so proud to be a Palace fan -... over to football thread we go ...

I've just been informed we've been unable to find a suitable venue in London for St Patrick's Day. We did actually have Hammersmith Apollo on hold but so too did another act and unfortunately they were quicker to the draw than we were and snapped it up just before we did. Sorry that I raised false hopes, I'm quite pissed off about it myself.

Just to circumvent the "why not the Dog and Sausages in Hackney?" questions, none of the alternative venues we pursued this week made sense either economically or in terms of crowd safety.

Am I right to assume that this now means no gig on St Patricks night at all?

At this late stage, it seems unlikely we will find an alternative venue anywhere that makes sense.

You've been pipped to the post by bloomin' Newton Faulkner then, by the look of it. Which has now actually raised a (somewhat ironic) smile here in the end. I shall not be tempted to go to see him instead.

Really sorry to hear the news. Looking forward to the next time, whenever it is.
