My annual pilgrimage to New York in March will be less exciting for sure without the Roseland show. Sad news indeed.

Any chance of an official yes or no for the 2010 US March-April tour? Me and some friends have been trying to schedule a vacation around a show, the sooner we have definite information, the sooner we can adjust our plans as needed. I hope there's a tour, but I'll understand if not.

I would think it highly unlikely Mr C would shed that much doubt about a tour only to come back with a list of dates. (I have to add I'm still absolutely gutted)

**For informational purposes if you're looking to do some celebrating and The Pogues do not come to NYC I posted in other areas for anyone who is looking for some St Paddys day merriment....
The Chieftains are playing the March 14, 2010 @ the State Theater in New Brunswick NJ, a short train ride from NYC. and The Dropkicks are playing The Wellmont Theater 2/24 @ Montclair NJ, also a short train ride from NYC. Then 2/25 in HoB, Atlantic City NJ.

We are currently scrutinising options for March 2010. At the moment, the chances of the East Coast being among those options must be considered remote.

Nuts. This reminds me of selecting the city/country for the olympic games. Brazil, perhaps?

Hope to see you back again soon, fellas.

The parade up Fifth Ave and accompannied Pogues shows in about 18 degree weather were fun,......shows in D.C. in near frigid weather were also a pleasure.
Snow and/or freezing rain SUCK.
If we have the good fortune of any U.S. tour in March, warm weather is good for my old bones :)
Friday is the deadline for my 2010 vacation submission. Pogues somewhere, or maybe Curacao.

So St Patricks day fun is still a potential. Huzzah!
this at a time when airfare seems to be coming down, ever so slightly.

You are the eternal optomist. He said "scrutinising options" that could mean playing in Tipperary for all we know.

Thats fine with me. I have never been to Tipperary. Wherever they play, I will try to make it.
