Okay to skip a year as long as you come back next. My husband and I have managed to spend our 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th anniversaries in Boston with the Pogues. Sure hopping we will spend our 30th with them.

It is my understanding that The Pogues are skipping the East Coast Tour this year for the sake of the children...

Listen, there was a time when I never thought I would see the Pogues play again so I am happy to have seen you on stage for the past few years. Still, it is something I have come to look forward to this time of the year and it is going to be a much longer colder winter without those shows. I would agree there is room for new music as well in order to keep it fresh and not rolling out the same thing each year. Thank you for the music. Thank you thank you.

as disappointed as I am to know I won't bee seeing the Pogues this year, like the poster before me said; I'm very grateful to have seen them play the past three years! some of the best shows I've ever been to.
So instead of freaking out all "WHAT THE HELL WHY AREN'T YOU PLAYING IN BOSTON IN 2010", I'd like to thank the band for the memories and for putting on some great shows the past few years, and I hope to see you in 2011!
