It's just started chucking it down again here. Or whatever it does with snow. Desperately hoping we'll get there tomorrow, but the decision on travel is currently deferred till we see what tomorrow brings. Tension. Deep breaths.
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.

I'm going down in the morning via them not so trusty Virgin Trains, Brum to Euston, I'm a little concerned a big freeze tonight could lead to the old "points are frozen " excuse being wheeled out, like yourself Firehazard we'll see what tomorrow brings, you planning on being in the Canterbury if you do make it ?

Eckhard, that's terrible, text me tomorrow if you get there (as I won't be on here after tonight, assuming my train runs) and we'll finalise arrangements.

Won't come. No chance. No alternative flights. I am really disappointed. Fucking snow.

Feel sorry for you who can't go to the shows at Brixton.
The Pogues are better than ever.
How much snow do you have in UK?
Up here in Sweden we have about 4 inches snow (10 centimeter) and minus 24 Celsius
But we're used to it
Then they'll take you to Cloughprior and shove you in the ground. But you'll stick your head back out and shout "We'll have another round"

Thanks. I could not even book us on the 1500 flight, since that was already full with people who wanted to fly yesterday. Shit.

Still awaiting the decision on travel. Roads round here are frozen and the forecast for tonight is still dire. Probably it'd be ok by train, but we have to go by road. If we do get there, we won't be in the Canterbury, as I think it's not possible to get a wheelchair into that establishment. Not sure where we'll be beforehand yet - depends when we arrive and where we can get into. I guess we'll be in the usual place inside the Academy if we make it.

Eckhard, really sorry to hear about your problems. That's just cruel. :(

Thanks, mate. It's sad. But my problems are small compared to real problems. Nobody died. I just miss a concert. It still sucks though...
