What is the support band on the shows? Dropkick Murphys maybe?

Cheers from the Netherlands...

Cheers for your reply Phil, I 'll wait another week or two and hopefully the 20th will be added. Don't like the look of Spider's comments though, all does n't appear well. Is Joey the goat???

Fine, Spider, we'll take the job. This groveling's gettin' embarrassing, yeah? This time when we open for ya, we won't play a song in our set that you'll play in yours...probably.

I must not have made myself clear. The 20th is unlikely to be added. Billy is the Goat.

Fed up of the reunions hey? Sounds like 1991 all over again. Oh well, thanks lads, it was great while it lasted.

Apparently, it's not him who's been missing rehearsals. It's the rest of us.

Maybe i'm wrong but I think it's obvious Spider is speaking about the last leg of 2009 shows. Then the band gets time off through the Holiday season. Plus another two months into 2010 before a hopeful March East Coast US tour.

Maureen, did you ever see that awful film from the early 90s called 'Revenge of Billy the Kid'?.

The horny farmer McDonald has his wicked way with a goat. Life returns to normal for the family, until the goat gives birth! The mutant off spring, called Billy, is tormented by the Farmer's sons, only the daughter feels any pity for him. It isn't long before Billy, who keeps growing bigger, plans revenge...

No, the only goat-related film I've heard of is "Goat Fuck" which I noticed for sale on a high shelf in a Malaga Airport newsagents.

How about getting the norwegian paddy rockers Greenland Whalefishers to fill in as support act for the tour? Fucking great band in the true spirit of Pogues-style paddy punk, with lots of records on their cv! Check them out at http://www.g-w-f.com
