Hi Philip, was hoping to book my accomodation for London in December. Was just wondering when will a third brixton date be added or ruled out?
Just don't want to make my arrangements and then for there to be a third date to be announced.

Cheers.

I'm going to put my neck on the line and say a third show is unlikely.

Mr C, Any confirmation that this is true?

I just saw it on the other post thank you for the duplication here sir!

In my defense I just got home and had this politico article in my email box, wanted to share with those interested here. Then I read the new active posts top down....had I gone from the bottom up I surely would have found your post sooner. Thank you again for your assistance!

So sorry to hear about Mr. Whitmore. We saw him open the show at The Wiltern last year, and became instant fans.

THE MIGHTY REGIS stand ready and willing to fill in, since I am sure our availability is on everybody's mind.

Cheers,
Dave

The amount of messages I send poor Philip begging is actually quite embarassing! Also Spider on myspace....Shameless :D

It's really not a problem, don't worry! But it is a real shame that Will can't do it, must be all that dust & ashes..

I was looking forward to showing him off to the UK & Ireland and I love having him on tour with us: He never, ever tries to steal my sunglasses, i've never seen him with sick on his shirt and he doesn't need to be led around by a goat. Get well soon William, please..

While I feel badly for Mr. Whitmore, here's a suggestion....NO OPENING ACT! Maybe the promoter can give WEW'S fee to the Pogues and they can add another 30 minutes to their set, playing a few things we rarely/never hear, like Recruiting Sgt/Rocky Road, Kerry Polka, Maggie May...

Maybe if MacGowan could get his lardy arse down to a rehearsal once in a while we would be able to do different songs. As this has been repeatedly proven to be utterly beyond his capabilities, i wouldn't put any money on it. Got anymore bright ideas? I, for one, can't wait until it's all over.

Ok, do songs that don't require old lard ass' participation:
Any instrumental
Hot Asphalt
a few more songs from the underrated Waiting for Herb
Spider sings London Calling! That would be awesome!

I'm sure others could recommend an additional half hour to the set w/out Shane. And since he isn't contributing, split his share!
