Fibbers?! Not the Fibbers it USED to be!

Fibbers, right. I was only there a couple of times this July, so I've idea how it used to be.

Please please please bring back medley for the christmas tour. Its not even possible to describe the emotions i go through when listening to this song on my ipod, let alone hearing it live.

How fucking stupid is it for The Saw Doctors to be playing in London the same time as The Pogues.

I know at least 20 people which normally do both...

Obviously not this year :)

well, i think this is London's best kept secret :)

http://www.parkplaza.com/londonuk_riverbank

Its exactly your budget. But with the added bonus of being on the river, in view of parliment, london eye,.. etc.

Its a really nice hotel if you want to treat yourself :)

Heading to the Brixton gig on the 19th instead of our usual Belfast excursion. It will be extra special as my girl friend has never seen the band before (is she is for a time or wa!!) Only downside we booked a little latter than usual and we could only get seated tickets grrrrrrr!!! Any pre or after parties worth checking out?

Dublin will be nice
2 Swedes on the way for 3 shows in Dublin and hopefully Shane is in shape for one of them  :)
Any nice pubs near the Olympia and where can we get some nice and cheap food?
Have seen the boys in Glasgow and of course in Brixton but never in Dublin.
Have seen Shane at the Point with the Popes and the Dubliners, it was some charity gig.
The Olympia seems to be a wonderful place for a Pogues-concert 8)

There are no nice pubs near the Olympia as they're all in Temple Bar, where they are at least plentiful and, of course, bustling. Food at all prices and levels of quality within staggering distance of the pubs.

 The Bank pub is just down the road on the other side. It's got great food at reasonable prices. I recommend the Beef and Stout stew it's fantastic and great "Soakage". For a few quick beers before going in to The Olympia, Brogans is right next door, good atmosphere but mad busy pre gig.
