At a guess, i'd say 8 or 9 hundred the other 800 sitting in circle and up in the Gods in the upper circle.

Any word on Support yet?

I'm assuming Manchester won't have any special guests this time round?

We will be announcing our special guest (for the whole tour) sometime next week.

Note singular, not plural. I've seen real, genuine honest to God proof (i believe it because i saw the video on tinternet) that Jacko is alive and well.

Is it him, Philip?

If it's on the internet, it must be true. But don't be silly, it's going to be Elvis*, of course.

*Presley, not that other one. That'd never happen.

There is certainly an intention to make an announcement both on the front page and in the forum. It's difficult to promise that there will be though. Lots of cogs have to line up just right for things to work as we want them to.

Keep an eye out!

Damien Dempsey - complete guess and wish
By the way, tonights local paper, gearing up for the new o2 academy opening in Brum, which has cost £5.5 million sounds like its gonna be a stonking venue. This is a quote

"Academy 1 will hold more than 3,000 fans, while smaller rooms, the 600-capacity Academy 2 and Academy 3, big enough for 250 fans, can host simultaneous performance under the same roof.Backstage are state-of-the-art dressing rooms with en-suite showers, a kitchen and games rooms for artists. "
Maybe you won't be rushing off from this one Mr C, fancy a game of pool after the gig ?
One Mr C, there's only one Mr C!!

Thanks Fr. McGreer for that info. Oh god please not Damien Dempsey. I can't stand him. And I thought Mundy was bad.
I love it when a plan comes together.

The artist formerly known as Guest.

I regularly visit this forum but not registered so I'm cheekily asking for help with hotels around the Olympia in Dublin. Have seen the Pogues in Brixton the last 2 years, but have never been to Dublin and discover that they're playing there on my birthday. So I'm willing to push the boat out to get a great hotel - will pay around say £130 or so a night. Have had a really crap year with my mother's death, and with very serious illness myself, so I'm determined this birthday is going to be the best ever to celebrate my still being alive - and Dublin for the 1st time along with the Pogues is the way I want to do it. Any recommendations guys?
