Is there any indication at all, anywhere, that this lineup might be different than it's been since 2001 (well, other than that period where Philip was out)?

I heard somewhere that Shane mysteriously vanished after the Livepool gig. :wink:

Made up to see Shane strolling around in Lord St today at about 5:30pm. Chatted to him for a few minutes about the show. He was very polite and happy to chat.

It HAS been 4 months - I can understand your frustration. There is (are?) only so much Pogues to go around, and it's a big ol' world they've got to cover. I recommend high doses of The Box Set to tide you over until the next gig...

According to SonicLiving (http://sonicliving.com/event/1387811) the openers at the Warfield are DeVotchKa, Sean Wheeler and Zander Schloss.

(I'll be the bald guy in the crowd wearing a bright green button that says "Ask me about Almeria, Spain". Seemed appropriate for a Pogues gig...)

Hello everyone,

I just joined this forum. Could anyone shed some light on the Fall 2009 dates that are listed on Pollstar vs. the ones that are officially confirmed on their website? There are three dates in or by Chicago on Pollstar that have not been confirmed yet. I think at least one of them has to be wrong. Pollstar has them listed as playing 08/22/2009 in Chicago at the House of Blues, but they are listed on their website as playing The Beautiful Days Festival, Devon. If just one or two of the Chicago dates become confirmed that would be beyond fantastic! I hope my cut and past lines up, but here are the dates on Pollstar:

Howdy Trevin - Welcome aboard.

I find it extremely unlikely that they will perform in Norway, and then 24 hours later perform in WI followed by two shows (over the course of a week) in IL, and THEN have over a month of down time before starting a fairly packed West Coast tour. And of course that return-to-IL-date on 10/17, in between the San Francisco and L.A. shows, is pretty suspect.

I think PollStar probably has some bad data.
