i think that people are confused that you are only able to purchase presale tickets through Artistarena.com. I registered with the sight several days ago and then this morning was recieving error messages that the site was unavailable. i then went onto both Ticketswest and Ticketsmaster and bought presale "internet" tickets. Portland and Seattle.

Are the internet tickets "limited" in number or was the Artistarena tickets "limited" in number. I dont think Artistarena delivered a smooth ticket purchase. Presale dates varied several times from the actual day to actual times. it turned out that both Ticketswest and ticketmaster went on sale at 10 am pacific time today.

I hope everyone gets their tickets. ive been watching the net since i missed last years seattle show.

Can anyone tell me if the HOB in Dallas has a balcony with seating? I want to take the kids to another show but fear they would not be able to see much if they are stuck on the floor (most likely near the back for safety).
And I don't want no grave
Just throw my ashes in the field
And hope there's some soul left to save

i think so. the $55-$65 seats are balcony according to ticketmaster. http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0C004 ... norcatid=1

there appears to be box and balcony.

and i can promise that no empty guinness cans will be thrown up towards the area. at least not on my part...

Very cool! Great idea keepin' them from being sightless in the back. Looks like I'm going to have to wait for March for a family turn out myself. Waiting on the Nawlins date for a trip with the wife, second choice will be cheapest trip as far as airfare since it's not looking good for a driving distance show!

I'll take any date! Houston's possible as Continental out of Newark here hubs up with them many times a day. <secretly hoping for a closer, additional date in a previously unnamed city> 8)

gee, thanks DzM!
I'm not sure Houston is in the picture, though -- it's a navigational nightmare. But Austin for sure, and probably Dallas.
For some reason I can't log onto the presale site. Maybe it will work tomorrow.

Ordered my tickets for the Kansas City show (ugh, have to wait until a week or so before the show for them to actually be mailed).

Midland is a nice venue. Can't wait to see the Pogues here, saw them in Chicago in 2008, never expected a stop in KC, that's awesome! Anyone know if it is all ages, 18+, 21+? My friend wants to bring his younger brother.

As a band, we are rarely party to information like this, or to queries about photography etc. Each venue tends to have its own policies and, as we are effectively hiring the venue, we have to acknowledge and respect the venue's wishes, within reason. It's always best to check with the venue.

Info I've seen seems to indicate that the Midland show is All Ages.

Still - Check with the venue, your mileage may vary, availability limited, warranty valid only where permitted by local law, etc.
