Err. There's a Facebook URL/Post? NJRich, is that you?

Anyway - dunno. I just post what I'm told. I was told "Pre-sale is June 23, 3:00pm local time." But yeah, the pre-sale site definitely says June 24.

I'd advise logging in on both days.

I'll check with the head of quality control. Apparently a small snafu

I apologize for asking so many questions, but I'm quite excited about this. How fast do the shows usually sell out? I will probably use the pre-sale option, but I'm always hesitant to buy tickets in any way that doesn't result in me immediately having a hard-copy of the tickets. Does anyone know when tickets go on sale through ticketmaster (or whoever) for the general public?

No appologies needed C J,

DzM or Mr Chevron would be best suited to handle that question as soon as they see it.

Sometimes they immediately sell out, sometimes there's tickets available the day of the show. It's a gamble to leave things until later.

Public on-sale dates will be announced shortly.

That's kind of what I figured. I guess I just want to have my tickets in hand asap, just in case anything goes wrong, I don't like the idea of having to wait until a week before the show to receive them. I'd rather go the ticketmaster route and have them in my possession as soon as I pay. However, I absolutely cannot miss this show, I have been this excited about seeing a band since I saw Pantera back in 2001, so I'll probably have to go the presale route.

Thanks for the reply.

Another option may be to purchase in advance and pick up at the Will Call window at the show. I did that option for the last NY shows tickets that way. No problem.

I thought about that, but I think I'll just go the presale route. That way if anything goes wrong there will be time to correct things.

As a side note, I really hope they keep the same setlist from their recent shows because I could not imagine a better group of songs.

Pre-sale date change!

Post Tue Jun 23, 2009 4:14 pm

So, turns out there was an error. It involved drills and hammering. The pre-sale is, in fact, on Wednesday, June 24 and not the previously reported June 23.

Keeps you on your toes, right? :)

I see you are playing 3 shows in Illinois but all three are close to Chicago. You should come to Champaign or other central Illinois venues.

But the west is alway great, and wifey used to live in Portland. She has seen Suicidal Tendencies and Guster (on consecutive nights) at the venue and speaks highly of its location.

Hmmm. No time nor money for both.

Guess I don't have a lot of time to decide.

Hmmm.

Crap. I can't believe she's friggin moving to Houston. So Houston it is, I guess.
