Kilkenny 1985 ???

I was talking to somebody recently who swears blind they saw the band in a hotel in Kilkenny, Ireland in 1985. I cant find this gig in either of these listings ...

Didn't they do a short tour of Ireland in '85 ?

I seem to recall reading about this in James' book.

(I was 12 in '85 myself so it wasn't on my radar )

Autumn 1984, with Elvis, were their first Irish dates, including Belfast, Galway, Dublin. Further dates happened in summer 1985. This from Carole Clerk's book (Chapt 9 "Drunken Odyssey"), which includes a photo from Ireland's Kenmare festival in June 1985. No specific mention of Kilkenny, which of course doesn't mean it didn't happen.
