"It was only a matter of time.... Stay tuned for some news coming soon...."

My goodness, that would be soooo cool!

Alas, I think this announcement relates to the launch of The Pogues new whiskey brand and not a new tour. But hey, maybe they'll tour to promote it!

Yes looks like your right streams
streams. Ive jumped the gun on this one
one. So the Pogues will be forever immortalised in whiskey. How fitting. Announcement looks like it's happening in the boogaloo tomorrow night. Maybe kick off a tour to coincide

I don't care what it is as long as there's a tour to promote it! Here's hoping

I don't usually do this but I'm currently working out my December theatre/gig listings.

I was just wondering if there was any chance the boys were going to play this December.

I've booked shows for the weeks before and after they normally play and nothing for the weeks they usually do.

I have seen a few things I may be interested in going to advertised for these weeks so I could do with knowing.

If they were, surely something would have been announced by now. I'm reluctant to book for other shows on the dates the boys usually play in December just in case they are.

I've not read anything just wondered if anyone else had.

Low posted an article in the whiskey thread (an interview with Spider) where he says nothing is happening at the moment.

Yep, from what Spider has said there seems little prospect of a tour anytime soon. And looking at the listings at Brixton Academy in December, many of the possible dates for Christmas gigs are booked already.

Thanks.

Somehow I seem to have missed that even though I have read the thread.

Love or hate this time of year? Love it when we have Pogues shows to look forward to and plan for. Hate it when we don't. Obviously Shane is recovering from breaking his pelvis, but we can only hope that perhaps a Summer festival or two in 2016, or later on, a short Christmas tour would be possible, if he makes a full recovery. Getting major withdrawl symptoms. Whiskey is one thing. But it's not the REAL thing.

Just looking at Adele's dates at the O2. She's playing 15,16,18 and 19 March. Perhaps somebody has an option on the 17th?
