Looking at this, it looks to me that Spider is genuinely concerned whether Shane is going to make it to the end of the song!!!!
Agree with the comment about the band, the band are on one planet, Shane, sadly looks like he is in a different Universe. He does not look well at all, it will; be interesting to see if they do any Xmas gigs or if this could be the last one, as a betting man, and all being well with Shane (after a recuperation period) I could see them doing the States for Saint Pats day, but no UK gigs at Xmas.

This performance of White City may give us an inkling to where The Pogues are heading as a band (The End?) but let's hope not.
Shane was never going to do his "White City Waltz" during the instrumental part of the song, but the general look of the band was an uninterested one, bar Spider and possibly James.
I used to think James W fitted in well, in a difficult void, but he comes over cocky and arrogant. Whoever is playing bass for sure doesn't fit in. Where's Darryl?

At the time I thought he was at the Thetford Forest gig, but looking back I'm not so sure, and we were too far away from the stage to be certain. Does anyone know if he's been at any of the summer gigs?

Just going off the clips on YouTube Darryl was at Thetford and Hyde Park, can't tell with Bologna. I suspect he just missed the last couple of gigs, maybe due to other commitments, maybe due to not wanting to share the stage with somebody who looks like they're singing while in a coma any more! Shane looks awful at the French gig.

It's not looking good for anyone at the French gig. Yet I really thought at Thetford that Shane was in great voice, and he seemed lively and to be enjoying himself.

Time for a rest, I'd say. Hard to foresee any new tour announcements soon.
