Mr. C., I thought this article by a neuroscientist might be of interest to you and others. Here's a quote from near the end to get you to read all the way through,

Its intresting, although he sometimes gets a little too basic, and sometimes sounds a little too much like Alan Partridge.

I think that just shows you aren't stupid. There's no shortage of stupid people which is why I think he writes like that. I just like the idea of Mr. C as an ancient shaman in a pork pie hat.
