silly reason...

phil chevron has always beenm my favorite pogue. mainly because he looks like my own dear daddy, without the black hair (now much more silver). NOW....isn't that the silliest reason you've ever heard for.....well, anything really? :D shamroxann

20 years ago a school friend said Dad looked like Cary Grant. She told me that I was guaranteed to look distinguished during my middle age. Unfortunately I look more like Russell Grant

For my birthday on Jan 1st my friend gave me a framed photo of Shane - the one where he's just signed his name on the wall in Dublin - my friend amended it to say " Happy Birthday Maureen , Love from Shane MacGowan ..........anyway , in the photo he's the image of my Uncle John Murphy........with, as they say, a face like the map of Ireland......haven't heard that expression for a while but I'm sure some of you have :lol:
