Hey Phil,

I'll be looking forward to the NYC show at the Nokia this March (St. Paddy's Day Weekend).
Do you play a Gretsch acoustic or Semi-Hollow? I think I have seen you with it (white?).In 2000, my wife bought me a Gretsch acoustic guitar for my birthday. I never seen or heard anyone else with just an acoustic. Usually they are semi -acoustic like Brian Setzer's. Mine's entirely acoustic. It looks and plays great and feels perfect in your hands.

Happy New Year!

I play a Gretsch Chet Atkins Country Gentleman (vintage early 60s) which is a hollow electric with, oddly, painted-on f-holes. I bought it in 48th Street the day we played Roseland (1989?). It's brownish rusty red. My white guitar is a Byrds style Rickenbacker 12 string electric, which I now use mainly with the Radiators.

I remember that gig. I believe you guys started with The Battle March Medley. The beginning part, I think, was pre-recorded while the band got on stagein the dark. You guys then joined in on the fast part as the stage lit up. The crowd went absolutely wild. GREAT SHOW THAT NIGHT. That was my favorite show.
