I haven't ever been able to reproduce your guitar playing, Mr C. As I don't know too much about Irish rhythm guitar playing, I don't know how you manage to mix this tradition with the drive and fiercity of punk music. Could you please shed any light on your approach to rhythm guitar playing?

Um.........no, not really. Just attack the thing, really. It's an attitude rather than a technique. Know when to be gentle also. And imagine it to be a bodhrán sometimes. And listen to Keef rather than Eric. And stand beside Terry Woods. And in front of Andrew Ranken. 8)

And concentrate like blazes, even while pretending to be miles away.

Thanks for your answer, Mr C!
I just might have to look out for some good records with bodhrán, sounds like that could be a very interesting approach. But how do I get Andrew Ranken and Terry Woods to stand next to me? ;)
