Well, I've spent the last 5 hours solid, reading through these forums. I only recently joined. I hadn't realised that Philip was so prolific in contributing and replying to people's queries and thoughts. So much of his personality shines out in those postings. What a great man he was. So funny, intelligent and understanding.

Nice Youtube clip here, nearly a year old. I'm sure it is linked to elsewhere but here it is again.

Interview with Philip Chevron: The Pogues - Live at L'Olympia (Paris) and interview with Philip Chevron https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nv-b5QNWqkM

Philip was indeed a great man. He is missed by everyone who posts here. There was nothing that Philip wouldn't do for the fans. If you wanted after show passes he would get them for you and no matter how busy he was he would give a couple of minutes of his time. I still come on here and look forward to reading his posts and replies to peoples questions even though it's over a year since he passed. It feels as if I've lost a family member. I so wish this all hadn't happened. He should still be here. Stupid cancer.

We're going to Dublin around St. Patricks Day and thinking of visiting Philips grave. Has anyone of you been there and know how to find it?!

I know that a few other Medusan's have been to the grave, particularly Carmen, Mats and Yas, they would be your best bet to ask. However this link has been posted before on this site, I think on this thread.

Philip's grave in Dardistown Cemetery at very close to Dublin airport. Buses route is 16, airport from(/to) city centre, off Swards Road bus-stop.

Carmen tell me how to find his grave before I visit, so I did not hard to find a tombstone ;

The plot number is H30, St.Margarets section. When you enter the gates, turn right and walk past the office. Continue until you reach a pathway which runs up the middle of cemetery. The graveside is on the right.

Happy Birthday, Philip! And Happy Birthday to Nick Drake, as well, I hope you're both having fun making music and words somewhere!
