I´m terribly sad. Of course I´ll open my next radio show with a Pogues song and of course I´ll dedicate the program to his memory.

I'm sat in a bar on the Costa Almeria raising a Parting Glass or 12 to the gent who was Phil Chevron; only ever interacted directly with him here but seen him live a couple of dozen times, I wil miss him greatly. Always felt he was the heart and soul of the band.
