Goodbye Philip. I was lucky to see you play a couple of times and for a girl from a little corner in the world those were special times! I'm sure you've made many people as happy as me. Rest in peace.

Fucking cancer.

So long, Phil. So glad I got to see you and the rest of the Pogues last year in Melbourne. Hope all the joy you gave to others brought you some comfort in your final days.

There was a man, the very finest.

Thanks Phil, for the acts of kindness. My condolences to those on this Raft who knew him far better, and who counted him a friend.

Terrible notice. From Argentina I just can say: thanks for all the fun and emotion you give me through your music. One of my dreams was meet Ireland with one of my best friends and, of course, see the Pogues. But, now, I'm just listening Pogues with some tears and a beer.

Que en paz descanses, gracias por la música!

Sleep well Philip.
A truly kind and generous man who will be missed.
You kind words and gestures will forever stay with me.
Please take a moment to watch my link below from the pogues in Manchester 2009, my girlfriend has passed away just a week before and Philip Kindly dedicated Thousands to her memory, something that helped me greatly in my hours of need. In the emails we exchanged his words offered me great comfort, he didn't know me or need to do this. But quite simply he did
A truly lovely man, you are missed.

Thanks for posting. I know from first hand experience how devastating cancer can be - it claimed the life of my dad last July, he was actually the man who introduced me to the pogues and Philip's music. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Deborah
