Hotel prices were a bit scary for single room but eventually I got one at the Jurys Inn Christchurch, a few minutes walk from the venue, through Travel Republic at nearly half cost on other websites I tried.

This is as good a place as any! DublinRambler had mentioned a good place nearby for pints, as well as for food beforehand. Will have to locate and repost. Looking forward to meeting you both!

It means I have a pair of tickets available if anyone would like them. I'm happy to sell them for half the face value...however the other half I would like to go direct to a cancer research charity.
