It was quite a night. Heartbreaking and uplifting.
Fr. McGreer, feel free to improve on that video anyway you see fit.

For those of us who could not be there it's good to come on here and hear all about it.

Love you Philip.

Indeed. No good news to be expected but nevertheless... The Pogues changed my view upon music and in the ealry nineties, knowing the link with the Radiators From Space, I found the album 'Ghostown' in a (now long gone) record shop in Antwerp and fell in love with it immediately.

I never had the chance to meet Philip, but throughout the years, e.g. through interviews and on this forum, I would have been glad to meet such a nice person, really. Take care

Thanks

Philip wishes to offer sincere thanks to all the musicians and performers and writers who gave so generously of their time and gifts last Saturday night at the Olympia and to all the audience members who took the opportunity to support my cause and see such fabulous artists into the bargain. We kicked out the jams one more time!

Thank you Philip for all the banter over the years and of course the immense body of work.

If you don't feel like posting any more then ELEVEN THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED AND ELEVEN.......11111 is a lovely number to finish up on.

I'm going to design a t shirt.......

CHEVRON
11111

However, if you feel like fucking up my design by increasing that number, work away

Fuck the begruders

Philip, I've just seen video from your Testimonial and wanted to say that I admire your fortitude in taking the stage to address the crowd and performers. I wish I could give you a hug. 8)

Thank you for all the varied and interesting conversation here.

XO

An absolutely emotional evening, it was an honour to have been there being part of paying tribute to a brilliant man. Heather, it was so good to see you again. I did look for you in Brogans after. Sorry I didn't make Bowes, but as I explained my flight was delayed and that put everything out.

I don't get around here too much these days, but it occurred that I should have a look around again (where's the LIKE button?) ;-)

Thanks to whoever made the tribute available, can't wait to have a listen.
